Orçun Atilla (b. 1986, Van, Turkey) is a musician devoted to the living musical traditions of Anatolia. A self-taught performer on the divan sazı, bağlama and oud, he draws on improvisation, makam and rhythmic diversity to create performances that connect past and present, tradition and personal expression. Having performed in Turkey and across Europe, Atilla collaborates with musicians from diverse cultural backgrounds while remaining rooted in the musical memory of Anatolia. His concerts invite audiences into a musical journey where ancient voices find new life in the present.

An intimate introduction to Ikebana, the Japanese art of flower arrangement. Through a short introduction, demonstration and hands-on practice, participants will explore the foundations of Ikebana — learning to observe each stem, work with space and balance, and discover the Japanese aesthetics , philosophy of ma and wabi-sabi. No previous experience is needed. All flowers and materials are provided, and participants can take their floral creation home after the workshop. A quiet moment to slow down, connect with nature, and create with intention. ……. We are delighted to welcome Satomi Irie to ALEM for a special Ikebana Workshop an intimate introduction to the Japanese art of floral arrangement. During this 90minute experience, Satomi will guide you through the philosophy, balance and beauty behind Ikebana, while you create your own floral composition to take home.
